The colored Salama Canyon is located in the southeast of the Sinai Peninsula. It is known for its sheer cliffs of multicolored sandstone – from bright red to white, as well as narrow passages and uniquely beautiful pools of water. The canyon was formed after thousands of earthquakes. On our tour you will get acquainted with this miracle of nature: it is worth seeing and photographing!
We will also ride camels and quad bikes, swim on an ancient reef off the coast and enjoy the picturesque scenery of the canyon!
The program of the excursion:
- At the gate of the hotel, the shuttle will pick you up at about 8:00
- Stop in Dahab at the dive center to rent the necessary snorkeling equipment
- Camel riding along the sea and photo session
- ATV ride (approximate duration 20 minutes)
- Swimming and snorkeling in the reserve. It is forbidden to swim without a vest – these are the rules of the reserve. It can be rented at the rental office.
- Stop at the coastal cafe for lunch and rest.
- A trip to Salama Canyon by jeep (a walk of about an hour)
- Stop at souvenir shops where you can buy jewelry, aroma oils, perfumes, souvenirs.
- Transfer back to Sharm el Sheikh to the gate of your hotel at approximately 18:00 for summer and 17:00 for winter time.
