05:30The Monastery of St. Catherine is one of the oldest monasteries in the Christian world, located in the North of the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt. It was founded in the 6th century by Emperor Justinian 1 at the place where, according to legend, Moses saw the burning of a bush and received the ten commandments from God. Gorenje.

The excursion to the Monastery of St. Catherine is an amazing journey through historical buildings, where you can see the church, tombs, temples and catacombs. The church is the main architectural structure of the complex, where sacred artifacts are kept, including a copy of the Icon of the Mother of God and the Madonna of Vladimir. There are also many museums where you can see archaeological finds and objects related to early Christianity.
